Description
OmniTik UPA-5HnD
Add a dependable and productive access point into your wireless network with OminiTik UPA-5HnD.
Weatherproof
The OmniTik UPA-5HnD is a great outdoor device. It has a very robust body so it doesn’t immediately succumb to the various and sometimes harsh weather conditions. It comes with a reliable enclosure that properly protects the integral components. It is also convenient to manage and maintain.
Access Point
The device is an access point that allows you to share your Internet throughput to multiple devices. This is a good setup for anyone who’s running a small home office or likes to share his broadband to some of his neighbors. The OmniTik UPA-5HnD, moreover, can be used by buildings with multiple levels and rooms. It supports 802.11 a/n standard and works on 5GHz, which is now gaining ground as a preferred radio frequency because it’s less crowded and thus has a very small chance of suffering from interference or noise.
Dual-polarized Omnidirectional Antenna
Another gem of the OmniTik UPA-5HnD is its antenna, which gives the device more coverage. It is omnidirectional, which means it’s able to receive and transmit signals at any point—truly a perfect example of what wireless signal should be. The dual polarization only increases throughput and gain, thus, enhancing the performance the device greatly. It is compatible with the SXT devices and Nv2 TDMA, which helps improve not only the latency but also the bandwidth. It increases throughput to around 200Mbit.
Flexible Connectivity
The OmniTik UPA-5HnD has various ports, including 5 10/100 ports (Ethernet) and a fast USB port. It also offers support for power over the Ethernet, so you’ll be able to run its needed electric power over the same cable for the Internet, saving you the hassle of managing some cables. There are customizable LED indicators that give you real-time information on the status of the device.
